Comedians Aries Spears and Tiffany Haddish are speaking out after a bombshell lawsuit accusing the pair of child sex abuse was filed last week.

The suit claims Haddish and Spears abused two siblings, a female when she was 14 years old and the girl’s brother when he was seven. On both occasions, the children, dubbed Jane Doe and John Doe, were allegedly told they were acting.

“Listen, obviously for legal reasons, I really can’t, uh, talk about anything at this time,” Spears said in a clip of the “Spears & Steinberg” podcast. “But I just more or less want to say to all the loyal listeners, thank you guys for your support and for your love.”

“This is an extortion case,” the comic asserted. “This is a shakedown. We won’t be shaken down.”

Haddish over the weekend addressed the claims personally, too. “I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I’m right there with you,” the “Girls Trip” actress shared on Instagram, The Daily Wire reported.

“Unfortunately because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now,” she said. “But, clearly, while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn’t funny at all — and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it. I really look forward to being able to share a lot more about this situation as soon as I can.”

It’s alleged in the suit that Jane, now 22, was encouraged by Spears and Haddish in 2013 to mimic the motions of oral sex for a comedy skit, the Daily Beast first reported.

The teen was allegedly made to watch a skit of coeds “moaning and making sexual noises” as they both ate a sub sandwich “in a manner that simulated the act of fellatio.”

Spears then allegedly told the girl “to mimic what she had seen on the screen, including the noises precisely like what she heard throughout the video.”

“Haddish verbally explained what was expected of Plaintiff Jane Doe and then showed Plaintiff Jane Doe how to give fellatio, including movements, noises, moaning, and groaning,” the lawsuit continues.

“I tried to mimic what they wanted me to mimic, but it still came out just super uncomfortable,” Jane recalled to the Daily Beast. “I knew when I left the booth that I didn’t complete what they wanted me to do.”

The girl was allegedly paid $100 by Haddish and sent home.
