President Joe Biden’s White House physician met with a top neurologist from Washington, D.C., who specializes in dealing with Parkinson’s disease.

The specialist is Dr. Kevin Cannard, who works at Walter Reed Medical Center.

Cannard met with Dr. Kevin O’Connor and two other individuals at the White House residence clinic on Jan. 17, per the New York Post. White House visitor logs confirm such a meeting took place.

The meeting comes as questions continue to surface about Biden’s cognitive health following his weak debate performance against former President Donald Trump.

A cardiologist at Walter Reed, Dr. John E. Atwood, was also present in the meeting.

The New York Post noted that the fourth person has yet to be identified in the visitor logs from that day. The meeting took place as Biden hosted House and Senate leaders at the White House to advocate for additional funding to Ukraine.

Cannard has studied and analyzed Parkinson’s disease for decades. On his LinkedIn, it states that he has served as the “neurology specialist supporting the White House Medical Unit.”

In August 2023, Cannard published a paper in the journal Parkinsonism & Related Disorders. His piece was centered on the “early-stage” of the disease.

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), who served as White House physician for former President Barack Obama and Trump, said the meeting between O’Connor, Cannard and the two other individuals could have likely been regarding the president.

“It’s highly likely they were talking about Biden,” Jackson said, speaking to the New York Post. “He should only be [regularly] treating the president and his first family.”

O’Connor has served as Biden’s physician since the president took office in January 2021.

While speaking to a trade publication in March, he said his most important daily task is saying “Good morning, Mr. President.”

Despite the president’s many gaffes, O’Connor said Biden was in fine health at his annual physical in February.

Following his poor debate performance against Trump, the White House indicated that Biden had a “verbal check-in” with O’Connor.

Jackson argued that O’Connor and First Lady Jill Biden are working overtime to “cover-up” Biden’s diminishing mental health. Notably, the president misspoke multiple times during holiday festivities at the White House on July 4.

“I believe he and Jill Biden have led the cover up. Kevin O’Connor is like a son to Jill Biden — she loves him. It’s crazy. Kevin O’Connor was in that job on day one of the Biden administration because they knew they could trust Kevin to say and do anything that needed to be said or done and cover up whatever needed to be covered up. He is part of the Biden family,” the Texas Republican said.

Like many Republicans, Jackson has issued dire warnings over the president’s cognitive abilities, noting that it has been declining for years.

After Biden debated with Trump, Jackson said the president’s performance was evidence that he was suffering from a “cognitive disease.” The Texas congressman urged Bident to resign from the presidency.

After analyzing the debate, Dr. Rob Howard, a professor who specializes in old age psychiatry at University College London, said the president displayed symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.

“I am not saying its Parkinson’s disease, I am just pointing out that there are features to him tat are consistent with Parkinson’s disease,” Howard said.
