Denver, Colorado found itself in more hot water after a How-To Guide for turning cities into tax-payer funded illegal immigrant sanctuaries surfaced.
The blue city unveiled a step-by-step handbook, dubbed the “Newcomers Playbook: A Guide to Welcoming Newcomers into Your City.”
The creators have expressed their delight in presenting a comprehensive manual on strategizing and executing the establishment of a sanctuary city, Breitbart News reported.
“We are thrilled that you are interested in creating a welcoming environment for migrants in your city,” it reads at the onset.
“As part of Denver’s welcoming approach, we use the term ‘newcomers’ to refer to migrants, recognizing that they are new to our city and embracing a more inclusive language.
“This playbook is a guide divided into two sections, offering recommendations and strategies for successfully integrating newcomers into your city,” it continues.
Breitbart highlighted that the guide acknowledges the contributions of the “Office of Mayor Mike Johnston” plus several of his illegal immigrant agencies.
The outlet also noted that the 22-page booklet is penned by the same mayor who has criticized external groups and states for sending immigrants to Denver. However, Johnston has seemingly changed his tune, now calling himself “the national leader on this topic,” per Denverite.
“We’re proud this playbook will help newcomers resettle in cities with more opportunities, help cities across the country successfully welcome newcomers and reinvigorate workforces,” Johnston said following the booklet’s release.
The guide recommends that cities purchase or arrange contracts for mobile showers and laundry trucks to serve so-called “newcomers.”
It additionally features a comprehensive checklist of “guest-related” questions to help cities identify potential issues in advance.
City officials are advised to use fraudulent social security numbers for immigrants when required, stating, “If an online application requires an SSN to move forward in the online portal, we have entered 123-45-6789.”
Resist the Mainstream has reported on Denver’s illegal immigrant situation, detailing a comprehensive package totaling $45.9 million from the mayor last month aimed at fully financing programs for “newcomers” in 2024.
Johnston found himself in hot water after it was revealed that the package would slash Denver’s police budget by $8.4 million.
The blue city also made headlines after illegal immigrants issued a list of 13 demands, asserting they won’t vacate street encampments until these conditions are met.
Denver Human Services’ have reportedly been persistent in its efforts to coax illegals off the streets, however, city officials maintain that the offer of shelter persists for those complying, notwithstanding the stipulations laid out in the migrants’ demands.
An advocate for the Denver illegals informed KDVR of “the camp as a collective” coming up with their “list of demands.”
Resist the Mainstream reported in April on a video that features Denver’s Newcomer Communications Liaison and political director for Johnston, Andres Carrera, addressing a group of recently arrived illegal immigrants at a local shelter.
Carrera is seen in the video informing illegal immigrants that Denver is unable to provide further assistance due to resource constraints.
She then offered to provide free bus tickets paid for by the city to help the illegals reach other destinations, including cities near the Canadian border.
“The opportunities are over. New York gives you more. Chicago gives you more. So I suggest you go there where there is longer-term shelter. There are also more job opportunities there,” she said to the group in Spanish.
