The 43-year-old actor owned the Fourth of July weekend not once but twice after his latest show, based on former Navy Seal author Jack Carr’s book by the same name, became the most watched series on the streaming site. In the message he shared on social media, Pratt praised Amazon for letting them make the “show we wanted to make.”

“Well, that’s two years in a row that the 4th of July weekend belongs to Amazon @primevideo,” the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star captioned his post on Instagram Wednesday.

“Last year, it was #TheTomorrowWar,” he added. “This year, it’s #TheTerminalList! I’m so grateful for my relationship with @jennifersalke and everyone at Amazon!”

“Thank you for letting us make the show we wanted to make,” the “Jurassic World” star continued. “Thanks to all who helped get us there! If you haven’t seen [Terminallist] yet, check it out!”

In one of the comments, the social media account for “The Terminal List” wrote that “Chris Pratt owns 4th of July!”

The series is about “a former Navy SEAL officer” who “investigates why his entire platoon was ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission,” a description on IMDb reads. It hit the streaming site on July 1.

On Rotten Tomatoes, critics panned it, giving it a 37% for the show’s “pretty standard-issue, macho-man military conspiracy theory fare,” as one critic put it. But audiences are loving it, giving it a score of 93% — and many are questioning the critics’ low scores.

“The character development and story are excellent!” as one fan wrote. “Really happy that Amazon is producing these kinds of stories and putting them out there, very binge-worthy! Chris Pratt is excellent, this is really a different character for him and he plays it so well!”
