A Congressional investigation has uncovered evidence that the Biden administration deliberately suppressed warnings about potentially life-threatening heart complications from COVID-19 vaccines.
The probe, led by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), revealed a coordinated effort to withhold critical safety information from the American public.
Internal government documents obtained by the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations show White House officials received early warnings about myocarditis cases in young people but failed to alert healthcare providers and families.
The heart condition causes dangerous inflammation of the heart muscle and can lead to serious complications.
The investigation found that federal health agencies were notified about concerning patterns of heart problems in February 2021, when Israeli health officials reported “large reports of myocarditis, particularly in young people.”
American representatives acknowledged approximately 27 cases at that time, though they noted the overall risk remained relatively low.
This early warning from international partners should have triggered immediate action from American health authorities, per reports.
The Israeli data presented shocking evidence of heart complications that demanded urgent attention from federal agencies responsible for protecting public safety.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) drafted a formal Health Alert Network warning in May 2021 to notify doctors and public health officials nationwide about the myocarditis risk.
This alert system represents the primary mechanism through which the CDC rapidly shares critical health warnings with medical professionals, public health officials and laboratory personnel across the country.
This critical safety alert was never released to the public after facing opposition from Food and Drug Administration officials, however.
Internal emails show then-FDA Commissioner Janet Woodcock directly intervened to block the warning.
Woodcock contacted CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, stating that the FDA “does not concur” with the decision to issue the public health alert.
Sen. Johnson revealed that federal agencies scrapped the formal warning and instead published less prominent guidance on the CDC website.
“The same day, they decided to nix it and instead publish less formal clinical myocarditis considerations on the CDC website,” Johnson stated during the investigation.
This decision effectively buried critical safety information in obscure technical documentation rather than issuing urgent alerts through proper channels.
Health Alert Network messages are designed to reach medical professionals immediately, while website postings may go unnoticed by busy healthcare providers treating patients daily.
The Congressional report alleges that Dr. Anthony Fauci received talking points from the Biden administration instructing him to minimize the myocarditis risk, the Daily Mail highlighted.
Officials were told to characterize reported cases as mild conditions that “often go away without requiring treatment.”
Internal documents suggest this messaging strategy was developed at high levels within the administration to prevent public alarm about vaccine complications.
CDC scientists internally upgraded their assessment of myocarditis risk from a “potential” to “likely association” with mRNA vaccines for young people by June 2021.
The report reveals that CDC officials privately briefed Pfizer and Moderna executives about potential myocarditis warnings while keeping American families uninformed.
