A Los Angeles, California mother entering her son’s bedroom Sunday discovered the smell from his room came from a dead woman’s body wrapped in plastic.
The body of Hannah Rachel Collins, 30, was found Sunday wrapped in plastic at a home on Wall Street, just south of the 10 Freeway, according to an ABC 7 report.
The mother entered her son’s room after she thought the smell from the bedroom was from a gas leak, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
After making the gruesome discovery, she called 911. Responding paramedics pronounced Collins dead, according to a New York Post report.
Police reportedly suspect her 26-year-old son in the woman’s death, according to the ABC 7 report, adding law enforcement has not disclosed his name.
It is not clear how she died or how long Collins had been in the man’s bedroom before his mother discovered the body.
