On Thursday, sources confirmed that Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of Elvis Presley, has been “transported” to a local hospital.
Lieutenant Zeko confirmed sheriffs responded to a call in Calabasas “for a female adult who was not breathing, and the fire department began rendering aid to the patient and they transported her to a local hospital.”
Her mother, Priscilla Presley, was seen walking into the emergency room shortly after Lisa Marie arrived at the medical center.
Presley, 54, attended the Golden Globe awards Tuesday night with her mother Priscilla Presley and was present to see Austin Butler win the Globe for his portrayal of her father in Baz Luhrmann’s biopic of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
Presley most recently posted on social media on Instagram, dedicating a post to her son, Benjamin Keough, who died in July 2020.
Lisa Marie, a singer and songwriter, is the only daughter of Elvis and his wife, actress Priscilla Presley. Elvis sold over 500 million records worldwide in his decades-long career and is recognized by Guinness World Records as the best-selling solo artist of all time.
Earlier this year, she wrote about how she would be forever “mourning the loss” of her son after he died two years ago.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office announced that an autopsy completed at the time ruled his cause of death as an “intra oral shotgun wound” and his manner of death is listed as a “suicide.” Keough was later buried alongside his grandfather in the Meditation Garden at Graceland.
“My beautiful beautiful angel, I worshipped the ground you walked on, on this earth and now in Heaven. My heart and soul went with you,” Presley wrote in a post following her son’s passing, on his birthday of that year. “The depth of the pain is suffocating and bottomless without you every moment of every day. I will never be the same. Please wait for me my love, and hold my hand while I stay to continue to protect and raise your little sisters and to be here for Riley. I know you would want that.”
“Happy Birthday my sweet sweet Boy,” she concluded. “You were much too good for this world.”
