Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Fauci and other so-called health care leaders have moved the proverbial goalposts concerning facemasks, lockdowns, school openings, and so many other things.
Now, Fauci is trying to redefine who is actually vaccinated.
On November 21, while doing his typical rounds on the Sunday shows, Fauci floated the idea that Americans must get vaccine booster shots to be consider “fully vaccinated.”
According to Fauci, “We’re going to take a look right now at what the durability is of the booster. … People should not be put off by the fact that as time goes by and we learn more and more about the protection that we might modify the guidelines.”
In other words, Fauci is considering changing the guidelines, again, to require Americans to receive booster shots.
Fauci added, “We would hope, and this is something that we’re looking at very carefully, that that third shot with the mRNA not only boosts you way up, but increases the durability so that you will not necessarily need it every six months or a year … If it doesn’t, and the data shows we need to do it more often, then we’ll do it, but we want to make sure we get the population optimally protected and you do whatever you need to do.”
First, as usual, Fauci made no mention of natural immunity.
Throughout the pandemic, Fauci has purposely overlooked/ignored natural immunity. Even worse, Fauci, who well knows that natural immunity is superior to the protection afforded by the vaccine, has mocked and derided those who make the very valid argument that natural immunity is more robust and longer-lasting than the current vaccines.
Despite Fauci’s antipathy towards natural immunity, several studies (as well as commonsense) prove that having had COVID-19 produces more vigorous and enduring antibodies than any of the vaccines.
As one recent study concluded, “natural immunity confers longer lasting and stronger protection against infection, symptomatic disease and hospitalization caused by the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2, compared to the BNT162b2 two-dose vaccine-induced immunity.”
Second, Fauci is misleading the American public about the efficacy of the vaccine.
Fauci would like us to believe that the COVID-19 vaccines are full-proof. However, they are not.
The COVID-19 vaccines that Fauci endlessly promotes are not even vaccines in the true sense of the word.
Perhaps this is why the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) literally changed the definition of “vaccine” and “vaccination” on its website a few months ago.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the CDC defined a vaccination as, “the act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce immunity to a specific disease.”
Now, the CDC defines a vaccination as, “the act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce protection to a specific disease.”
Protection and immunity are not synonyms. They are not interchangeable.
The CDC has also redefined “vaccine” from “a product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease” to the current “a preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases.”
Put another way, the COVID-19 vaccines, unlike all prior vaccines, offer protection, not immunity.
Because the COVID-19 vaccines are not vaccines in the classic sense, booster shots are needed because the “protection” decreases over time. This is not the case with all other vaccines.
Third, notwithstanding Fauci’s glib comment that “people should not be put off … that we might modify the guidelines,” Americans are fed up with Fauci’s ever-changing position on vaccines and several other important matters.
Fauci, an unelected, lifelong bureaucrat, has no actual authority to micromanage the lives of 330 million Americans. Yet, for almost two years, he has acted as if he has been crowned king of the United States.
Furthermore, given Fauci’s alleged complicity in the Wuhan Lab’s use of perilous gain of function research to develop COVID-19, why are we even listening to him anymore?
There is ample evidence to suggest that Fauci skirted ethical guidelines in his quest to play God with gain of function research, which was outlawed by the Obama administration due to its inherent dangers of producing a Frankenstein virus that does not even exist in nature.
Perhaps Fauci’s collaboration in the gain of function research at the Wuhan Lab also led him to redefine “gain of function” on the NIH website, as well.
Regardless, Fauci has proven himself to be less than forthright throughout the pandemic. His latest “changing of the goalposts” is really just par for the course.
