UFC President Dana White shared news on the Jim Rome podcast which is sure to invoke the ire of the Food and Drug Administration, the Centers for Disease Control, Dr. Fauci, and others who discourage addressing COVID-19 symptoms with unapproved medications or treatment plans.
According to The Blaze, White traveled to Maine to be with family for Thanksgiving, and despite being fully vaccinated, contracted COVID-19 a few days later.
Another story of a high-profile, fully-vaccinated person contracting COVID-19 is enough to put pro-vaxxers on edge, but that is not the end of the story.
When symptoms such as a loss of smell developed, White reached out to long-time friend and podcast king Joe Rogan for counsel rather than seeking care from a medical center.
White followed Rogan’s counsel to “get monoclonal antibodies in you as soon as possible” and start a NAD drip.
A NAD website notes that NAD stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, and is “a coenzyme that is found in every cell in your body.”
The website goes on to explain, “It is required for the biological processes that are essential to sustaining life, from metabolism to DNA and cell repair, and is an essential fundamental mediator that supports overall brain health.”
White notes that Rogan also counsels people with COVID-19 to use “Ivermectin, Z-Pak, and prednisone.”
After following this treatment protocol, White reported that he “felt like a million bucks” in less than 24 hours.
When asked why White chose to follow Rogan’s treatment plan rather than the treatment path and medications most doctors currently recommend, White noted that “Rogan is a brilliant guy” who has helped “30 or 40 people” who “swear” to the effectiveness of the treatment plan.
The interview referenced how Rogan had used this treatment plan himself, and later recommended it to All-Pro Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rogers when he tested positive and reached out to Rogan for help.
Rogers quickly recovered and returned to the active player roster.
“At the end of the day, this is a free country,” White said. “I believe in finding solutions to problems…If you got COVID, I would urge you to do this.”
White added, “I’m attacking this thing with the methods that Rogan has learned from some very smart people…I [expect] to get back to work ASAP.”
Pharmacy Today notes that the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (a division of the National Institutes of Health) warns against the use of “alternative treatments” for COVID-19.
