Rep. Tim Burchett, a Republican congressman from Tennessee, has expressed concerns about the potential for members of Congress to be subject to s*xual blackmail in relation to the Jeffrey Epstein case, as more details come to light about Epstein’s flight logs.
Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee has attempted to subpoena these logs, but her efforts have been stalled by the Democratic-controlled Senate.
Burchett appeared on “The Chris Salcedo Show” on Monday, addressing these flight logs and speculating about how Epstein-related kompromat may be responsible for the failure of Blackburn’s measure.
“Too many of my colleagues, I’m afraid, are compromised in this area for whatever reason,” Burchett stated, as reported by Newsweek. “So, obviously, the Congress has been compromised, and this continues on through the White House, through the Justice Department. The trash can is very deep.”
Describing the process of entrapment and blackmail, Burchett explained, “You’re out of the country, out of town … and some, whatever you’re into — comes up to you, they’re very attractive and laughing at your jokes. Next thing you know, you’re in the hotel room.”
A federal judge has ordered the release of a list of names related to the Epstein case early next year. During the trial of Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, pilot Lawrence Paul Visoski Jr. testified about the passengers on Epstein’s private jet, including former Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump and also Prince Andrew. Visoski confirmed that he never saw any s*xual incidents on the plane.
