After multiple threats, on Monday it became official — Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) filed articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden.
Ogles also filed articles of impeachment against Vice President Kamala Harris.Â
The first article of impeachment claims President Biden weaponized the executive branch to “shield the business and influence peddling schemes of his family from congressional oversight and public accountability.”
The first article of impeachment also claims Biden administration officials, such as FBI Director Christopher Wray and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen withheld key documents leaders in Congress repeatedly requested.Â
Ogles noted that the requested documents included bank suspicious activity reports concerning the Biden family and information pertaining to several limited liability companies “used to funnel millions of dollars to Biden family members in intricate financial webs intended to deceive the public and obscure sources of those funds.”Â
The second article of impeachment claims that Biden, “contrary to his oath,” failed to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed, directly facilitated the ongoing southern border crisis and endangered the people of the United States.”
The articles of impeachment also claim the Bidens were involved in a bribery scheme. Supporting the claim is an FBI FD-1023 form, made available to House Oversight and Accountability Committee members last week.
According to Fox News, that document alleges that when serving as vice president, Joe Biden and his son Hunter received $5 million each from the Ukrainian energy company Burisma.
Reportedly, the Bidens received millions in exchange for preferential treatment from American decision makers.
The articles of impeachment note that in 2016, then-Vice President Joe Biden demanded the firing of Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating corruption in the state-sponsored Burisma organization. Biden boasted that failing to fire Shokin would put at risk $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees.
At the time, Hunter, who has no formal energy sector training or experience, was serving on Burisma’s board at a salary of $80,000 a month.
“Well, son of a b****, he got fired,” Biden later bragged at a Council on Foreign Relations meeting in 2018.

The articles of impeachment claim Harris is guilty of dereliction of duty due to her handling of the border crisis. Ogles contends the Biden administration has overruled efforts to enforce U.S. laws designed to make our borders secure. Â
Ogles wrote: “Since the creation of the Department of Homeland Security, the number of monthly ‘encounters’ had never crossed the 200,000 threshold; the Biden administration is responsible for the 6 highest and 8 of the 10 highest months ever recorded.”
The representative added: “Due to rampant drug trafficking at our southern border, the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18–45 can now be attributable to fentanyl overdoses.”Â
Ogles put the blame squarely on the vice president’s shoulders: “Kamala Devi Harris has demonstrated extraordinary incompetence in the execution of her duties and responsibilities and an indifference to Americans suffering as a result of America’s ongoing southern border crisis. Â
“Vice President Harris has consistently refused to visit the southern border to ascertain the root causes of the ongoing crisis, aside from a single trip hundreds of miles away from the epicenter of the migrant crisis,” he added.
