A Denver theater’s CCTV footage appears to show Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) placing a hand on her date in an inappropriate way.
The Republican congresswoman and her male companion were escorted from a city-owned theatre by Denver police Sunday, according to a report from The Denver Post.
Denver Arts & Venues reported that two patrons were asked to leave the city-owned Buell Theatre during a performance of the Broadway musical “Beetlejuice,” the report noted.
“It’s true, I did thoroughly enjoy the AMAZING Beetlejuice at the Buell Theatre and I plead guilty to laughing and singing too loud!” remarked Boebert in a post to her X account.
Newly-released CCTV footage appears to show Rep. Boebert and her companion, identified by multiple news sources as Quinn Gallagher, 46, engaging in intimate behavior during a performance of the musical ‘Beetlejuice.’
The footage captured Gallagher mauling Boebert’s mammaries during the show, followed by Boebert’s hand appearing to land in his lap as she whispers in his ear.
This video quickly gained traction on social media platforms, leading to widespread discussion, according to a Mediaite report. Liberals gleefully described her behavior as inappropriate.
Boebert is being portrayed as hypocritical by acitivists claiming the congresswoman engaged in sexual activity while children were in the theater despite her calling LGBTQ community members “threats to children.”
Following the incident, Boebert and Gallagher were asked to leave the ‘Beetlejuice’ performance, according to a report from the venue.
As The New York Post reported, Boebert apologized for her behavior during a Friday statement.
“The mother of four and grandmother of one filed for divorce in May, citing ‘irreconcilable differences,'” the outlet reported.
“There’s no perfect blueprint for going through a public and difficult divorce, which over the past few months has made for a challenging personal time for me and my entire family. I’ve tried to handle it with strength and grace as best I can, but I simply fell short of my values on Sunday,” she reportedly said.
“Boebert also admitted to smoking from an electronic device inside the theater, walking back on initial claims by her campaign team that other audience members mistook “heavy fog machines” for vape pen smoke,” NY Post continued.
The venue’s decision came after receiving multiple complaints from other attendees regarding Boebert’s actions.
Initial reports indicated the couple were ejected for continued bouts of loud laughter that three other patrons reported to security and violating a theater rule against photographing the performance.
The CCTV footage displayed Boebert taking flash photographs, dancing and using a vape device in the theater.
Site security reportedly asked them to leave but she told them they would need to call police if the theater wanted to boot them, which the theater did.
Theater’s staff called police, who then escorted Boebert out.
