Podcaster Jennifer Welch accused Republicans of being “scared of the liberal white woman” during a recent episode of her show, where she criticized the Republican Party, conservative voters, and Christians.
Welch made the remarks while discussing a report involving the FBI and investigations related to shootings involving Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The discussion began with Welch addressing a New York Times report that FBI agents were reportedly told the agency would no longer investigate certain shootings involving ICE personnel, a report that the Department of Homeland Security recently denied.
After referencing the report, Welch shifted the conversation toward broader criticism of Republicans, accusing the party of dishonesty and claiming its supporters are motivated by fear and political grievances.
“This is the Republican Party. This is their religion. This is their faith,” Welch said during the episode, according to The Post Millennial.
She accused Republicans of being “pathological liars” and claimed they want economic and employment systems structured to benefit white Americans.
Welch said Republicans want “a system that’s rigged for white people” and accused them of seeking advantages involving money and jobs.
Welch then focused her remarks on what she described as Republican fear of liberal women.
She said conservatives “live in fear 24/7, 365” and specifically stated that “they’re scared of the liberal white woman.” She argued that criticism of liberal women reflects concern over their political influence and cultural impact.
During the segment, Welch mocked Republican men who criticize liberal women and used profanity while responding to claims that progressive women are damaging the country.
She referenced herself and another person while saying some conservatives view “the white liberal woman” as a threat.
Welch also accused Republicans of exploiting what she described as weaknesses among their supporters, arguing that the party has benefited politically from those traits.
Her comments expanded beyond the original discussion of ICE investigations and moved into broader accusations about Republican values and motivations.
Welch claimed that Republicans feel superior to others and described them as “morally inferior and morally depraved human beings.”
The podcaster’s remarks quickly drew reactions on X, where users disputed her characterization of Republicans while criticizing and mocking her comments.
“Yes, we’re afraid of them just like you’d be when getting too close to a cobra or a dog with rabies,” one X user wrote. “It’s more of a common sense thing.”
“Disgusted by, not terrified of,” another user commented.
“Terrified? Doubt it,” another user wrote. “We just see them for what they are: mentally ill people who need help.”
Welch has previously criticized conservative religious groups during episodes of her podcast.
Earlier this year, she described white evangelical Christianity as a “cancer” while discussing prominent Christian figures and ministries.
She accused some evangelical Christians of using religion “as a weapon and as a shield” during political and cultural debates.
During those earlier comments, Welch criticized several Christian leaders and organizations, including Erika Kirk, Life Church, and Joel Osteen.
She argued that some religious figures present themselves as morally authoritative while pursuing influence and wealth.
Welch also mocked claims from some conservatives that they are being targeted because of their beliefs.
The episode added to Welch’s history of using her podcast to criticize Republicans, conservative movements, and religious groups.
