Actress Patricia Heaton openly criticized the mainstream media for fueling fear among Americans by portraying President-elect Donald Trump as a threat to their livelihoods.
In an X post, the “Everybody Loves Raymond” actress called out mainstream news outlets for spreading misinformation and propaganda.
“To all these extremists that are allowed television time, who told women that this is what is going to happen to them, shame on you! Shame on you!” she said in a video she shared on the social media platform Saturday, per Fox News.
“Apparently, there are some really vulnerable people here who you targeted, and you fear-mongered to and you need to go back on the air and tell them things are going to be okay, tell them that they’re fine.”
Heaton also bashed mainstream media for claiming that Trump supporters are “uneducated.”
“Also, stop saying people who voted differently from you are ‘uneducated,” she continued.
“Learn your f*cking lesson about smearing people who vote differently from you, who have different needs from you, who have legitimate complaints. Quit dismissing them as uneducated. When are you going to learn?”
Heaton’s harsh words follow extreme trends being adapted by liberals who shared their total meltdowns in relation to Trump winning a second term. Many of them, particularly women, have shared their fears over being stripped of their rights to have abortions.
In retaliation, many women have posted videos of them shaving their heads and pledging to not pursue s*xual relationships with men, as Resist the Mainstream previously reported.
While many conservatives have reshared the videos and posts, mocking their absurd and extreme behavior, Heaton went for a softer approach, urging Americans to pray for them instead.
“I’ve also seen a lot of the response videos — especially from women who are crying, screaming, shaving their heads, saying they’re going to be jailed or rounded up or killed or hunted or whatever,” she said in response to the social media posts.
“We need to pray for them, and I just want to say to all you folks who feel that way, don’t make politics or identity groups your religion! Only Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
Put your faith in Him, not in men, not in man’s institutions, not in human institutions.”
Her reaction video followed her return from Israel, where she learned about the election results, according to Fox News. She stated that Trump’s return to the White House is “very good for the Jewish people.”
The legendary actress has been an outspoken ally for Israel, citing her faith. In an interview with PragerU CEO Marissa Streit, Heaton expressed that “Christ’s biological family is being murdered” and encouraged Americans to “stand for them.”
