Music icon Madonna has been hospitalized in New York City due to a serious health scare.
According to various reports, the singer was found unresponsive on Saturday and was immediately rushed to the hospital due to a serious bacterial infection.
Madonna was rushed to the hospital and intubated in the ICU after being found unresponsive on Saturday, Page Six reports.

The 80s-90s titan of pop music and outspoken activist, was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of a New York City hospital. The situation necessitated intubation, an often necessary measure in critical health scenarios, suggesting a significant degree of urgency.
The New York Post reported Madonna’s condition is reportedly improving. The singer/actress/activist remains hospitalized but is no longer in the ICU.
US Magazine noted that Madonna’s manager said medical staff at the New York hospital expect the singer to make “a full recovery.” However, no timeline as of yet, has been released regarding Madonna’s release from the hospital.
Madonna’s health scare forced the postponement of her upcoming “Celebration” tour. The tour, designed to profile her forty years in music, was slated to begin in July but has now been put on hold indefinitely, according to Metro UK.
