A bizarre story circulating across social media claims that a young Japanese millionaire spent an enormous fortune in an effort to transform himself into a dog, sparking widespread attention and debate online.

According to viral posts, a 26-year-old man identified as “Jaso” allegedly spent around Rs 220 crore on procedures intended to give him the appearance and behavior of a dog.

The posts claim the man underwent multiple procedures as part of the alleged transformation and now lives while appearing and behaving like a canine.

Footage connected to the story has spread across social media platforms, with users sharing videos that appear to show a person moving on all fours and closely resembling a large dog.

Some posts have claimed that the transformation was achieved through extensive surgery, while others have suggested that the appearance was created through the use of an extremely realistic dog costume.

The viral story has gained particular attention because of the striking footage associated with it.

In some videos, the figure appears to move like a dog, interact with people and spend time around other animals, leading viewers to question how the unusual appearance was achieved.

One version of the story links the viral footage to a Japanese man known online as Toco, who previously became internationally known for appearing in a highly realistic Collie costume.

That costume was reportedly created by Japanese modeling and sculpting company Zeppet.

The suit was said to have cost approximately 2 million Japanese yen and was designed to closely replicate the appearance of a Collie.

Photos and videos of the costume wearer have circulated online for years, showing the individual walking on all fours, rolling on the ground, interacting with other dogs and participating in activities commonly associated with pets.

The level of realism in the costume has helped fuel confusion and speculation surrounding the newer viral claims.

Some social media users have interpreted the footage as evidence of a physical transformation, while others have pointed to the possibility that the person seen in the videos is simply wearing an elaborate suit.

The more dramatic versions of the story have continued to spread, with posts claiming that the alleged millionaire spent a massive amount of money undergoing procedures to alter his body.

The identity “Jaso” and the Rs 220-crore figure have also been repeated across multiple viral posts.

The Tribune, which examined the circulating story, noted that it could not independently verify the viral video or all of the claims attached to it.

Despite that uncertainty, the story has continued gaining traction due to the unusual nature of the allegations and the realistic appearance of the dog-like figure shown in the footage.

The claims have sparked intense reaction online, with users debating whether the alleged transformation involved surgery, an advanced costume or an exaggerated version of an existing story.

As the videos continue circulating, the extraordinary claim that a Japanese millionaire spent a fortune trying to become a dog remains one of the more unusual viral stories to capture attention online.
