Ex-Fox News pundit Megyn Kelly recently insinuated that a significant number of individuals believe that Barack and Michelle Obama are clandestinely operating a “shadow puppet” government.
This assertion came during Kelly’s appearance on Eric Bolling’s Newsmax show. Kelly, who currently has her own show on SiriusXM, also speculated that Michelle Obama might challenge President Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential race.
“There’s been questions from the beginning — is it Joe Biden really making the calls?” Kelly said.
Kelly further elaborated on her perspective, suggesting that Michelle Obama is held in high regard by Democrats. They view her as a beacon of hope and strength.
“I think Michelle Obama is seen as a savior figure by the Democrats who think she’s the most beautiful person ever. They think she’s the strongest leader. They think she’s their big hope,” Kelly said.
The conservative commentator also remarked that GOP voters would not even consider race a factor but emphasized that Michelle Obama would galvanize the Republican base because of her perceived lack of patriotism.
“No, it’s because you don’t like America,” Kelly said. “And it’s not just from your weird comments when Barack was running that, ‘For the first time in my life, I’m really proud of my country.’”
Kelly also criticized Michelle Obama’s recent revelation about her hair choices during her time in the White House. The former first lady had shared that she had stopped straightening her hair as she felt the nation wasn’t prepared for a black woman’s natural hair in such a prominent position.
“Really? I mean it’s the same country that made Oprah Winfrey an absolute billionaire, and I watched that show daily and Oprah wore her hair however the hell she wanted,” Kelly said. “But this woman has no faith in the goodness of Americans.”
Kelly’s comments come amid rumors that Democrats are urging Michelle Obama to run for the presidency due to concerns about Biden’s age and cognitive abilities. Conservative media outlets have intensified their focus on the Obamas, with some even reviving old and discredited claims about the former president.
Kelly concurred with Bolling’s sentiment that the Obamas are eager to return to the White House. She also suggested that Barack Obama might be manipulating the Biden administration from behind the scenes. Bolling highlighted that Kelly had previously proposed the idea of Michelle Obama succeeding Biden on the Democratic ticket.
“There are a lot of people who think the Obamas are already running the government and that there is some sort of shadow puppet situation going on that they’re controlling,” Kelly stated.
