Many are concerned that President Biden and his key leaders are not well-positioned to represent the nation in 2024.
Biden’s secretary of defense is facing potential impeachment charges for a gross breach of protocol in not informing his subordinates, Congress or the White House of his hospitalization last week.
Homeland Security Chief Alejandro Mayorkas and President Biden himself are also facing potential impeachment charges for false statements, illegal business dealings and/or dereliction of duty. In addition, there are serious questions about Biden’s physical and mental fitness to run in 2024.
While traditionally left-leaning media platforms are inching away from Biden, firebrand Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA) speculated that DNC leaders have already decided to replace Biden with former First Lady Michelle Obama on the 2024 ticket.
In a Tuesday interview with Benny Johnson on “The Benny Show,” Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) asserted that Biden’s “faculties” have been failing and that DNC leaders may move to replace the embattled president with Michelle Obama.
Greene said of Michelle Obama: “She owns Joe Biden’s policies. She owns the Biden administration. She owns the failure. She owns the Green New Deal. She owns the inflation. She owns the wide-open border.”
Greene warned that replacing Biden with Michelle Obama will make things exponentially worse for Americans: “Everything we’ve seen for the past few years under Joe Biden’s presidency will be far worse,” MTG asserted.
“[And] that’s exactly what they want. That has been the plan the entire time,” she claimed.
MTG claims that she was expressing more than her personal opinion — she was sharing what she has heard whispered in the halls of Congress on many occasions.
MTG is not alone in her assessment:

If Obama does replace Biden on the 2024 Democratic ticket, they must “tie Michelle Obama to every single thing the Biden administration has done because it is the Obama’s third administration.”
I have heard “very bad rumors” about Biden and his well-being, MTG said. I have heard people note how his “faculties” have failed him. This is just one reason Democrats may be looking to replace the president.
The interview follows Michelle Obama saying she was “terrified” about 2024 election projects which show former President Donald Trump as the likely winner.
Michelle Obama recently said on Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast: “Our leaders matter. Who we select, who speaks for us, who holds that bully pulpit — it affects us in ways that sometimes I think people take for granted.”
Previously, Michelle Obama has said she was not interested in running for office. However, at this late in the political election cycle, Democrats will need to pull someone with incredible name recognition and clout if Biden is replaced and Trump is to be defeated in 2024.
