A recently released coroner’s report paints a sad picture of the last moments of actor Austin Majors, who died on Feb. 11 at age 27.
The former child actor, who played Theo Sipowicz on “NYPD Blue,” was living in a transitional home at the time of his death.
In early August, RTM reported that the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office autopsy report obtained by the New York Post revealed the cause of death was accidental fentanyl toxicity.
According to TMZ, security guards found drug paraphernalia, a white crystal-like powder, pills and a shot glass with white powder residue near Majors’ body.
The recently released report notes that security guards at the transitional home conducted a routine bed check at approximately 9:30 p.m. Majors was unresponsive when they attempted to communicate with him.
Security cameras reveal that Majors spoke with people when he left his room for food a few hours before his body was found.
A report from a police investigation aligns with the coroner’s report, according to the Daily Caller.
Fox LA reported Majors’ impressive repertoire included roles in “Treasure Planet,” “How I Met Your Mother” and “An Accidental Christmas.” Other acting credits include: “Volare,” “ER,” “NCIS,” “Desperate Housewives” and “According to Jim.”
