Continued review of notorious sex trafficker Jeffery Epstein’s records reportedly reveals a 2010 affair between Bill Gates and Mila Antonova.
At the time, Gates was 53 and married to Melinda Gates, and Antonova was a 23-year-old up-and-coming Russian bridge player.
In 2021, Bill and Melinda announced their divorce after 27 years of marriage.
In a recently resurfaced video profiling the game of bridge, Antonova references Bill Gates. According to Fox News, the video was posted to YouTube by Ignite NYC in July 2010.
Referencing Bill Gates, Antonova stated in the video: “Two years ago, I said, ‘Everyone, I’m going to meet this guy,'”
As Antonova makes the statement, a picture of her and Gates flashes on the screen. Mila adds: “No one believed me. Last year, I played against him at the same table at the National Bridge Tournament in Washington, D.C. I didn’t beat him, but I tried to kick him with my leg.”
As the audience laughs, the slide changes from a picture of Gates and Antonova to a photo captioned “future champions,” noting young bridge players.
Some 13 years later, The Wall Street Journal reported that Jeffrey Epstein threatened to expose the affair between Bill and Mila.
A spokesperson for Gates minimized the affair, telling the Journal: “Mr. Gates met with Epstein solely for philanthropic purposes. Having failed repeatedly to draw Mr. Gates beyond these matters, Epstein tried unsuccessfully to leverage a past relationship to threaten Mr. Gates.”
Gates has admitted meeting with Epstein “a number of times,” saying it was a “huge mistake.”
Between 2010-2013, Antonova reportedly sought funding to launch an online-based business to encourage young people to play bridge.
Antonova had a Facebook group called Contract Bridge, which says, “Bringing Contract Bridge to the next generation.” The last post was made in 2012.
Her Twitter page, noting 43 followers including Bill Gates, was called @BridgeUnion. The Twitter page has not had a post since April 2013.
Notably, @BridgeUnion retweeted a tweet by Gates stating: “We are live R.T. @aplusk: R.T. @TechCrunch Bill Gates Talks About How To Change The World http://tcrn.ch/aXhQtZ #BGCT”
The Journal also reported that in November 2013, a Gates representative, Boris Nikolic, introduced Antonova to Epstein, reportedly to facilitate her fundraising efforts.
According to the Journal, Epstein did not financially support Antonova’s initiative, dubbed “BridgePlanet.” However, the following year, Epstein paid for Antonova’s education-related expenses as she pursued a career in software engineering.
“Epstein agreed to pay, and he paid directly to the school. Nothing was exchanged. I don’t know why he did that,” Antonova told the Journal. “When I asked, he said something like, he was wealthy and wanted to help people when he could.”
Of his encounter with Epstein, Nikolic said: “I deeply regret that I ever met Epstein. His crimes were despicable. I never saw anything like his illegal behavior. My heart goes out to his victims and their families.”
Epstein reportedly emailed Gates about his affair with Antonova in 2017. Strangely, Epstein asked Gates to reimburse him for the funds used to cover Antonova’s software programming classes.
According to a spokesperson, Gates refused. Sources close to the matter allege Epstein emailed Gates not for payment but to let him know he was aware of the affair and could expose the matter.
“Mr. Gates had no financial dealings with Epstein,” a spokesperson said.
