Another Clinton White House aide has been found dead in circumstances authorities labeled a suicide.
Sheriff Scott Montgomery spoke about the May 17, 2022, death of Mark Middleton, 59, during an interview with an online publication, according to a report from the Arkansas Times. The sheriff remarked that Middleton apparently shot himself in the chest with a shotgun and also hung himself from a tree with an extension cord,
Montgomery has since reportedly decline to provide further specifics about the former Clinton aide’s death.
Deputies responding to a report of an abandoned BMW SUV at the Heifer Ranch in Perryville, specifically said there was no gun in the car, according to a Daily Mail report.
Documents reportedly released to the Daily Mail claims a Stoeger 12-gauge coach gun was found on the ground about 30 feet from Middleton’s body.
Sergeant Keenan Carter described how he believes Middleton – an aide who signed pedophile Jeffrey Epstein into the White House several times during Bill Clinton’s presidency — died. Carter’s report said Middleton went to great lengths to ensure his suicide was successful, which occurred after texting his wife he had “found a perfect place for a nap in the sun.”
Middleton tied an electrical cord round his neck, then shot himself, the Daily Mail report noted. Presumably, it was done as insurance in case the shotgun wound was not fatal.
“Going to rest for a while,” he wrote his wife, Rhea, “You are a great Mom and wife babe. Please be happy today and get some sun. It will make you feel better. I love you.”
He concluded his text message by appending a heart emoji.
Carter added Middleton, 59, dragged an eight-foot bench to a tree on the ranch that overlooked a valley.
“He stood on top of the bench and tied one end of the extension cord to a large limb of the tree and the other end around his neck,” the sergeant explained. “It is believed that Mr. Middleton then took the firearm and placed the barrels against his chest and then reached out with his left hand and placed his first finger on the first trigger. It is then believed that Mr. Middleton pulled the trigger on the firearm casing (sic) it to discharge and strike him in the chest and then he fell from the bench causing the extension cord to become tight cutting off his breathing.”
The shotgun reportedly used by the former Clinton aide to attempt suicide landed so far from his body due to recoil, his height above the ground and the angle the gun was held at upon discharge, according to the deputy.
“This officer didn’t find any evidence to indicate that there was anyone else present with Mr. Middleton at this scene or any evidence that there was any type of struggle and or foul play,” the Perry County sheriff’s deputy wrote in his report.
Middleton was an adviser to former President Bill Clinton and signed reputed pedophile Jeffrey Epstein into the White House on seven of his recorded 17 visits.
Middleton also flew on Epstein’s jet, the “Lolita Express,” according to the Daily Mail report.
Clinton was governor of Arkansas before he was elected president.
