Twitter’s new owner, Elon Musk, shared internal corporate emails with Substack writer Matt Taibbi, who published emails one at a time Friday. Some of the emails contained contents that were real eye-openers about the degree of cooperation between Twitter employees and Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign team.

Correspondence regarding Twitter’s suppression of New York Post reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop revealed the Biden campaign’s reach. An established, legitimate publication had reports censored by Twitter executives who claimed the material was disinformation that came from hacking.

Recently released “Twitter Files” debunks that claim, showing the employees who blocked the story — and even the newspaper for a while — knew hacking was not involved. They joined forces to agree they acted from an abundance of caution because hacking was not disproved, so it could be the salacious material’s source.

Taibbi posted another email where the Biden campaign asked Twitter to “review” specified accounts. A follow up thread shows the actor James Woods was included in a Democratic National Committee report, prompting another Biden review request.

“Celebrities and unknowns alike could be removed or reviewed at the behest of a political party,” Taibbi noted.

In light of all the information about questionable acts of censorship and monitoring, other Twitter users asked Musk to shed light on their story.

One of those people is former Covington High School student Nicholas Sandmann, who was vilified online after images of him, wearing a MAGA cap, facing an elderly American Indian captured national attention.

“As I’m watching this all play out, I’m wondering if @elonmusk has any hidden twitter files relating to what went on here,” Sandmann said in a Sunday tweet. “Let’s be clear: under the watch of @vijaya they allowed these illegal threats when I was 16 years old.”

He attached several 2019  screen captures below his caption that made concerning remarks about the Covington students, including Sandmann.

“If you are a true fan of shoes, I want you to fire on any of these red hat bitches when you see them,” remarked account user @HouseShoes. “On sight.”

Another @HouseShoes post included in Sandmann’s post said: “LOCK THE KIDS IN THE SCHOOL AND BURN THAT BITCH TO THE GROUND.”

“Those accounts were [penalized], maybe not in the way you wanted them to be, but the tweets were forced to be deleted,” said Vijaya Gadde, then the head of Twitter’s “Trust and Safety.” Her remarks were made to podcaster Joe Rogan in an episode that streamed in 2019, according to a report by the The Red Pill blog.

Even though those objectionable Twitter posts were removed, @HouseShoes is still a functioning account on the social media application.

Other Twitter users included screen captures of the post calling for deadly force against Sandmann.

Musk has already stated there will be more files released in the future. He initially promised it would happen Saturday but a subsequent tweet said it may take a few more days.
