An apparently mentally ill woman has been charged with making threats against former President Donald Trump and his 17-year-old son Barron.
The Illinois resident, Tracy Marie Fiorenza, is alleged to have made electronic transmission of threats to harm or kill, a violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 875(c).
The charging documents reveal that Fiorenza is accused of sending a series of threatening emails to an educational institution located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
On May 21, 2023, she reportedly sent an email to the institution’s headmaster, stating, “I will state that I will shoot Donald Trump Sr. AND Barron Trump straight in the face at any opportunity that I get!”
Subsequently, on June 5, 2023, she is alleged to have sent another email to the same headmaster, in which she wrote, “I am going to slam a bullet in Baron Trump’s head with his father IN SELF DEFENSE!”
In response to these threats, the U.S. Secret Service made contact with Fiorenza. She agreed to an interview at the USSS Chicago Field Office.
During this interview on June 14, 2023, Fiorenza was presented with written copies of the aforementioned emails. She confirmed that she had intentionally written and sent these emails from her residence in Plainfield, Illinois.
Apparently, Fiorenza believes the Trumps are involved in sex-ring involving minors.
This incident comes at a time when the political climate in the U.S. is notably tense. The upcoming 2024 presidential campaign season is gaining momentum, and former President Trump has been indicted on 91 felony charges across four separate cases.
In a related incident, a Texas woman was recently taken into custody after she reportedly confessed to federal authorities that she threatened U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan in Washington, D.C.
She reportedly threatened the judge’s life if Trump did not secure a victory in the 2024 elections. Court documents indicate that Abigail Jo Shry also made threats against Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), members of the LGBT community and other unspecified “democratic parties.”
Shry’s threats were explicit, with statements like, “You are in our sights, we want to kill you,” and, “We want to kill Sheila Jackson Lee.” She further warned, “You will be targeted personally, publicly, your family, all of it.”
These incidents underscore the heightened political tensions and the importance of ensuring the safety and security of public figures and institutions.
