The Biden family found themselves the brunt of a joke when Biden’s likeness was incorporated into a Christmas display at the government Longworth House Office Building.
Rep. Collins (R-GA) reportedly arranged for guests to be greeted by a life-sized cutout — not of Santa but of the president’s son Hunter. The image of Hunter is holding a sign reading, “Let it snow.”
The “Let it snow” line references Hunter’s drug addiction problem and the fairly recent find of a bag of cocaine at the White House.
The cutout was commissioned by Collins and made by a Georgia-based company.
Collins explained to Fox News Digital: “When we got our room assignment, we didn’t realize that we were signing up on the second floor, where there’s always the big Christmas decoration competition. When we do something, we’re in it to win it.”
Collins said he met with his staff, and each person shared their “input into what we thought we ought to [incorporate into our display].”
Bringing President Joe Biden into the mix, the display includes gifts with tags indicating they are from “The Big Guy” and for notorious figures such as Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The president is currently under investigation by two congressional committees amid allegations the Biden family has a long history of illegal business dealings with foreign governments.
Going the extra mile, Collins added snowflakes hanging from the ceiling which pay tribute to liberal figures and a life-sized cutout of singer Mariah Carey captioned with the words, “All I want for Christmas are 12 appropriations bills.”
The approbation bill reference was aimed at his fellow Republicans who control the House.
“We like poking fun at everybody,” Collins said. “We just had a lot of fun.”
