Shocking Courthouse Rant From Lindsay Clancy’s Attorney – Fox News Stars Attacked

Deliberations resumed Monday in a Massachusetts courtroom where jurors are weighing the fate of a mother accused of killing her three children, a case that has gripped the nation for weeks.

Before proceedings got underway, defense attorney Kevin Reddington stopped to address a crowd of reporters gathered outside the courtroom doors.

He did not hold back.

Reddington took direct aim at two of the most recognizable names in legal media coverage: Fox News host Sean Hannity and television personality Nancy Grace.

The attorney represents Lindsay Clancy, the woman standing trial in the case.

“It’s been obviously a long weekend,” Reddington told the assembled press. “You’re all journalists, reporters, news media, and this weekend has been horrific with the coverage.”

His sharpest words were saved for Grace specifically, whom he accused of pushing inaccurate claims about evidence presented during the trial.

Reddington challenged her account directly, daring her to back up statements he says she never could.

“I challenge Nancy Grace to show us where Lindsay Clancy ever said, ever googled ‘How to kill’ — words that came out of her mouth — and these things hurt, these things hurt people. If you’re going to be a journalist, do it right,” he said.

Not every reporter drew his ire. Reddington singled out two local journalists covering the trial and commended their work, a notable contrast to his criticism of the national figures.

The heated exchange with the press unfolded just days after jurors had already begun combing through physical evidence central to the prosecution’s case.

On Friday morning, panel members asked to personally examine items recovered from the scene, prompting a notable moment inside the courtroom.

Spectators, including relatives of Clancy, watched as Judge William Sullivan raised two clear plastic evidence bags for the room to see. Each bag held bottles of medication connected to the case.

Reddington later revealed additional details to the Daily Mail, explaining that jurors specifically wanted to inspect two separate collections of pill bottles.

One set had been recovered by law enforcement. The other had been recovered by Patrick, Clancy’s ex-husband.

Beyond the medication, jurors also asked to see a blood-stained knife — an item tied to Clancy’s own suicide attempt following the alleged killings.

Formal deliberations began Thursday, immediately after both legal teams delivered their closing arguments to the panel.

Twelve jurors now bear the responsibility of reaching a verdict: nine women and three men, narrowed down from an original pool of 18 potential jurors.

Their decision is far from simple. Massachusetts law presents them with five distinct possible outcomes.

They could convict Clancy of first-degree murder, the most severe charge. Alternatively, they could find her guilty of second-degree murder or the lesser charge of manslaughter.

A full acquittal remains on the table, as does a verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity — a finding that would send Clancy to psychiatric treatment rather than prison.

The range of possible verdicts reflects weeks of testimony focused heavily on Clancy’s mental state at the time of the alleged killings.

Attorneys on both sides used their closing statements to make final appeals to the jury before deliberations began in earnest.

Reddington’s public confrontation with national media figures is an unusual development for a trial already defined by intense scrutiny and around-the-clock coverage.

Legal proceedings of this magnitude rarely see defense attorneys publicly challenge television commentators by name while a jury is actively deliberating.

No indication has been given as to when the jury might reach its final decision.

Courtroom observers, legal analysts, and members of the public continue to monitor developments closely as the case moves toward its conclusion.
