Rep. Sarah McBride (D-DE), a man who believes he is a woman, was scorched and humiliated online on Thursday for claiming that Republicans were “weird” and “bizarre.”
“We will not take a lecture on decorum from a party that incited an insurrection,” McBride said, referring to the GOP.
“I appear to live rent free in the minds of some of my Republican colleagues,” he continued.
“I wish that they would spend even a fraction of the time that they spend thinking about me thinking about how to lower the costs for American families. … They are obsessed with culture war issues. The Republican Party is obsessed with culture war issues. It is weird and it is bizarre,” the Delaware congressman went on.
Needless to say, McBride’s comments gained plenty of attention on social media, with many conservatives lambasting the congressman, as the Daily Wire reported.
Conservative commentator and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk issued a scathing rebuke of the Delaware Democrat, calling him “delusional.”
“Rep. ‘Sarah’ McBride, formerly Tim, says Republicans are obsessed with culture war issues. This coming from a delusional man who wants to force all of society to change its laws to indulge his s*xual fetish,” Kirk wrote.
Another X user dissed McBride, saying the congressman is obsessed with trying to get everyone to accept his “fairytale.”
“No Tim, we just won’t play into your delusion and sickness. You are obsessed with pushing your fairytale on everyone else. Just because you say you are a woman, we don’t have to and won’t play that game. You are a biological male and we can still see your Adam’s Apple,” the user wrote.
“Sorry MISTER,” he added.
Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL) also commented on the matter and tore into McBride’s idea that he is a woman.
Notably, Miller sparked controversy from the left by referring to McBride as “Mister.”
“What’s truly ‘weird and bizarre’ is thinking you can throw on a wig, put on some makeup, and suddenly become a ‘female.’ No amount of pretending will ever change the way God created you. The truth is unshakable, and no one will ever erase it from our culture,” Miller said.
Following in Miller’s footsteps, Rep. Keith Self (R-PA) ignited controversy on Tuesday when he referred to McBride as “Mister” during a congressional hearing.
“I am a retired Green Beret. I’m not even sure what all the fuss is about…I spent 25 years on active duty defending his right to live his life as he chooses—but I don’t have to participate in his fantasies,” Keith told Daily Wire host Michael Knowles regarding his actions.
“I mean, he is allowed to live his life — in fact, I spent 25 years on active duty defending his right to live his life as he chooses. But I don’t have to participate in his fantasy,” Self added.
