The assault on former President Donald Trump is in full swing. Last Wednesday, Karl Rove asserted that “none of the documents … should have been removed from the White House” by Trump or his staffers. On Friday, former Attorney General Bill Barr said Trump “deceived” and “jerked around” the FBI — forcing the Aug. 8 search.
Both damning statements from notable Republicans came during interviews on the Fox News platform.
Trump took issue with the statements and with Fox whom he claimed is “pushing the Democrats and the Democrat agenda.”
Trump expressed his displeasure on his Truth Social platform, claiming that Fox News is moving left, that Karl Rove is a “RINO” and that the interviews were “unwatchable” and “very negative.”
Trump wrote:
“Wow! Fox News is really pushing the Democrats and the Democrat agenda. Gets worse every single day. So many Dems interviewed with only softball questions, then Republican counterparts get creamed.”
Unloading on Rove and the anti-Trump Lincoln Project whose Board, despite their denials, knew of co-founder John Weaver’s sexual improprieties for years but did not intervene, Trump wrote:
“RINO Karl Rove is unwatchable, very negative, and on all the time – Has a big record of losing! Not an easy place to be as a Republican, especially with all of the ‘pervert’ purchased ads.”
Trump continued: “If ‘low ratings’ CNN ever went Conservative, they would be an absolute gold mine, and I would help them to do so!”
Trump added: “Karl Rove is the new Chris Stirewalt of the Paul Ryan run Fox News!”
