The height reported Thursday after former President Donald Trump was booked into the Fulton County Jail in Georgia created a furor among liberal media and social media users.
Trump was booked after surrendering at an Atlanta, Georgia, prison for charges attributed to his contesting 2020 presidential election results.
The booking information released by Fulton County jail officials listed him as 6-feet-3, weighing 215 pounds, with “blonde or strawberry” hair and blue eyes.
The details of Trump’s height and weight were reported before his arrival at the jail, to speed up processing time, according to a Fox News report.
CNN host Jake Tapper expressed his surprise, saying, “Wait, what?” when the details were released.
Alex Bruesewitz, a Trump operative, commented favorably on the measurements, posting on X, “6’3 215. Absolute elite athlete. Trump 2024.”
NFL writer Scott Kacsmar expressed disbelief at Trump’s weight, comparing his reported attributes with those of former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald.
“Larry Fitzgerald – 6’3″, 218 lbs Donald Trump – 6’3″, 215 lbs,” noted Kacsmar. “LIKE HELL.”
Noah Karim Mikhail is a four-star football prospect ranked among the top five linebackers in the 2025 cycle, expected to be among the first 50 drafted that year, according to a Georgia Bulldogs report.
Former federal prosecutor Ron Filipkowski compared Mikhail’s stats with Trumps, which are equal.
“Noah Karim Mikhail is 6’3”, 215 lbs.,” remarked Filipkowski. “Same height/weight Trump just self-reported to the Fulton Jail.”
The former president’s weight was previously recorded as 239 pounds during his 2018 physical examination by then-White House Physician Ronnie Jackson, who currently serves in the U.S. House of Representatives.
ABC News mentioned that the prereporting of Trump’s height and weight was done to expedite the booking process.
The former president’s booking comes after Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis announced indictments against Trump and several of his allies over efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss in Georgia.
