Trump’s Warning to King Charles Just Before Being Waved Off Revealed: ‘We Will Discuss That Later’

A lip reader has cracked open a private moment between President Donald Trump and King Charles III, exposing a candid exchange on the White House South Lawn Monday that touched on a recent shooting, an ongoing war, and even a ballroom renovation.

Television cameras were rolling as Trump and First Lady Melania Trump welcomed King Charles and Queen Camilla to the White House — but the audio from their initial greeting never made it to viewers at home.

Professional lip reader Nicola Hickling stepped in to fill the silence, sharing her analysis of the footage with the Daily Mail. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Trump wasted no time getting into serious territory. His first words to the King appeared to reference Saturday’s shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

“This shooting…” Trump appeared to say.

The King’s reaction was immediate. Rather than engage on the subject, he signaled he was uneasy standing outdoors.

“I’d rather not stand about here too long,” the King appeared to respond. “I feel I shouldn’t be here.”

Trump acknowledged the gravity of the situation directly.

“It’s not a good thing,” the President said, before checking on the King’s wellbeing.

Trump then offered what appeared to be a personal reflection on his own readiness.

“I wasn’t prepared, but now I am prepared,” he said.

With that, the President shifted gears entirely — steering the conversation toward Russian President Vladimir Putin and telling the King he was in active contact with the Kremlin.

“So right now, I am talking to Putin,” Trump said. “He wants war.”

King Charles moved to pump the brakes on the subject.

“We will discuss that later,” the King replied.

But Trump was not finished. He pressed forward with a grim assessment.

“I’ve got a feeling… if he did what he said, he will wipe out the population,” Trump warned.

The King tried once more to table the discussion.

“Another time,” Charles said.

At that point Trump steered into noticeably lighter territory, inviting the King to take a look at an ongoing White House renovation project.

“You can see right through there,” Trump said. “Right the way through to the ballroom. Would you like to see?”

That drew a laugh from the monarch, along with a characteristically diplomatic reply.

“I’m sure you shall show us,” the King said.

“That’s right, you’re right,” Trump answered.

The King then asked a simple but practical question before the group moved inside.

“Which way do we go?” Charles asked.

“We’re going this way,” Trump said, leading the party through the doors.

Once inside, King Charles and Queen Camilla were received in the White House’s Green Room for tea.

The visit also included a tour of the White House’s newly redesigned beehive — positioned beside the Kitchen Garden that First Lady Michelle Obama originally planted in 2009.

The updated beehive was built to resemble a scaled-down version of the White House itself.

The royals later departed for the British ambassador’s residence on Embassy Row in Washington, DC, where a garden party was held in their honor.

The more formal chapter of the royal visit was set to unfold Tuesday, with a full ceremonial welcome planned for the South Lawn followed by a state dinner in the White House’s East Room.
