Vile News About Charlie Kirk Statue Outside Turning Point HQ Just Days After Unveiling

Red paint now stains a bronze tribute to Charlie Kirk in Phoenix, Arizona — a memorial that had stood for barely three days before vandals struck.

Turning Point USA unveiled the statue Thursday, timed deliberately to mark one year since Kirk’s assassination. By Sunday, the tribute had become a target instead of a tribute.

Phoenix Police arrived at the scene shortly after 9 a.m. following a report that the statue had been defaced.

Investigators noted something chilling in the placement of the paint: it pooled heavily around the statue’s neck, the exact spot where Kirk took a fatal bullet.

Whoever did this also sketched a frowning face across the bronze torso.

The damage didn’t stop there. A nearby memorial featuring Kirk’s image alongside a solemn religious inscription was hit as well.

The inscription read, “May Charlie be received into the merciful arms of Jesus, our loving Savior.” Vandals slashed a bright red “X” through Kirk’s painted face and smeared red across the word “Jesus” itself.

Ironically, flowers and American flags left by mourners sat untouched just feet away.

No arrests have been made. No suspects have been named.

Online, Kirk’s base didn’t hold back. “These animals will burn in hell for all eternity,” one supporter posted. Another cut straight to the point: “So, killing Charlie wasn’t enough. So noted.”

Rewind twelve months, and the tragedy that sparked all of this comes into focus.

Kirk, 31, was gunned down on September 10, 2025, mid-sentence at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University — the very organization he built from the ground up.

He was more than an activist; he was a trusted political ally of President Donald Trump.

Roughly 3,000 people watched a debate event turn into a crime scene when a single rifle round struck Kirk in the neck.

He never made it out of surgery. Doctors pronounced him dead shortly after arrival at the hospital. He left behind a wife and young children.

Investigators moved fast, and the manhunt ended with 22-year-old Utah native Tyler Robinson in custody.

Robinson didn’t run forever — his own parents allegedly talked him into surrendering after he confessed the killing to them directly.

Prosecutors have since thrown the book at him: ten criminal counts, including aggravated murder, a charge that opens the door to the death penalty.

A pivotal courtroom moment arrived September 1, when a judge ordered the case to trial.

Prosecutors insisted the evidence was overwhelming; Robinson’s defense pushed back, calling it thin.

Regardless, his attorney entered not guilty pleas across every count. Mark your calendar — Robinson returns to court October 23.

Utah County prosecutor Ryan McBride didn’t mince words when laying out the alleged motive before the ruling.

“It’s not difficult to understand the motive here,” McBride told the court, adding, “The defendant’s views were repugnant to the positions that Charlie Kirk famously took.”

That motive, according to prosecutors, traces back to a bitter ideological divide — specifically over same-sex marriage and gender transition.

The picture got more complicated once investigators learned Robinson had been romantically involved with his former roommate, Lance Twiggs, who also goes by Luna.

Twiggs reportedly told investigators he’d been weighing his own gender transition right around the time Kirk was killed.

Then came the note — a piece of evidence prosecutors say Robinson wrote to Twiggs.

In it, Robinson allegedly confessed: “I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and I took it. I wish we could have lived in a world where this was not necessary.”

Phoenix isn’t the only city grappling with statue-related unrest. Just days earlier, New York City erupted into chaos over a separate Kirk tribute.

Sculptor Sergio Furnaru’s life-sized rendering of Kirk went up in Times Square to coincide with the anniversary — and within hours, supporters and critics were clashing in the streets.

The Daily Mail reached out to both the Phoenix Police Department and Turning Point USA for comment. As of now, neither has responded.

Two cities, two statues, two separate anniversaries turned into flashpoints — and one year later, the fight over Charlie Kirk’s legacy shows no sign of cooling down.
