Academy Award-winning actor Jon Voight delivered a scathing critique of the Biden administration, labeling it a “corrupt mob” and cautioning Americans about the potential for a “civil war” should they fail to advocate for the truth.
Voight, who is best known for playing a struggling would-be gigolo in 1969’s Midnight Cowboy and for being the father of actress Angelina Jolie, released a video on X this week, excoriating the Democratic Party with insinuations of corruption and treachery.
“What are we to do? What have we become but a nation of destructive behavior? This is now a war, a war against all of us. The Biden administration is a corrupt mob, and the Obama administration fuels the cycle,” Voight said.
Continuing his address, Voight stated, “My fellow Americans, this is a civil war, and this is the time we must stand for truths. If we don’t see this, you, your children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, will all pay the price for this default.”

Voight, a known supporter of former President Donald Trump, emphasized the importance of standing up for lost truths. He also cautioned against the current government’s manipulation.
“And my only wish is that all can find the truth that President Trump is a man who wants to save America, the dream, the freedom,” Voight added.
The timing of Voight’s video is crucial, given the nation’s deep divisions over Trump’s four indictments. Voight’s plea for Americans to “stand up for the truth” resonates with many who believe the current administration is steering the nation off course.
Voight concluded his remarks by referencing Abraham Lincoln. He urged Americans to recall the sacrifices made for freedom, stating, “Let us remember Lincoln’s sacrifice. Much love to you.”
