On Monday, “Fox Across America” host Jimmy Failla mocked President Biden after he repeated a story about an Amtrak employee which has long been debunked by fact-checkers. The next day, when appearing on “Fox and Friends,” Failla criticized the media for ignoring Biden’s gaffes, warning that the adversaries of the U.S. are watching as the president repeatedly tells lies or showcases his forgetfulness.
“This is disturbing stuff,” Failla said, “Biden’s Amtrak story, it’s like Large Marge in ‘Pee-wee’s Big Adventure.’ Pee-wee goes in and mentions someone who had died 12 years ago. Everybody’s like, ‘[What’s] wrong with this guy?’ But in this case, he is the president of the United States.”
“And it’s a shame on the other networks that they don’t highlight this because you know who does pay attention to this? Maybe left-wing media doesn’t, but our enemies do. People are watching our president who quits talking in the middle of a sentence because he’s done,” he continued, warning that “it’s only going to get worse.”

This is just the latest in a long line of gaffes that Biden has made in which he spun tales, such as the infamous “Corn Pop” story, or forgot key details about certain individuals, such as when he searched for Rep. Jackie Walorski several months after she had passed away in a car accident.
Biden recently echoed the “Where’s Jackie?” gaffe when he repeatedly referred to Rep. Don Beyer (D-VA) as “Doug” four separate times at an event in the congressman’s district.
“Where’s Doug? Congressman?” the 80-year-old president asked while giving a speech on the economy.
“He’s around here somewhere,” Biden said as he searched the crowd. “Oh, there you are. Doug, thanks for the passport into town. Doug and I have something in common, we both married way above our station.”
In 2021, Biden once again repeated a claim that had circulated since 2013 in which he said that his house burned down with his “wife in it.”
In 2013 he had made the claim that a fire “destroyed a significant portion” of his New Hampshire home.
However, a 2004 report from the Associated Press said lightning struck the Bidens’ home and started a “small fire that was contained to the kitchen.” The report said firefighters got the blaze under control in 20 minutes and that they were able to keep the flames from spreading beyond the kitchen.
In 2020, Biden had to walk back repeated claims that he was arrested in apartheid-era South Africa while trying to visit Nelson Mandela. He later admitted that he was not arrested but “stopped” by authorities.
