Bill Maher, host of HBO’s “Real Time,” seemed to forget that he was on a live CNN broadcast on Friday when he unexpectedly dropped an f-bomb.

While on his new segment “Overtime” on the struggling network where the host further interviews his “Real Time” guests, he surprised some viewers with his use of profanity.

Decider reported that Maher and his guests were talking about Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders when the host began riffing on “nepo-babies,” children who allegedly get what they have in life due to the connections of their parents. Some have accused Sanders of being a nepo-baby due to the fact that her father, Mike Huckabee, was also a Republican governor of Arkansas.

“Does the fact that… Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a nepo baby detract from her political accomplishments? I guess they were hearing me talk about the Huckabee dynasty,” Maher said. “You know what that is? It is like, you mostly refer to people in show business as nepo. Anybody whose mother or father was a star and then you’re a star, that makes you a nepo baby. I could name many of them. They’re very upset about being called that.

“I’ve noticed this phenomenon, as many people have out here,” he continued. “It’s fine if your parents were in show business. Just don’t say, as I’ve heard some of them say, ‘Well, it wasn’t any easier for me.’ Yes, it was. It was easier! Or the other thing they say a lot is, ‘Well, it just got me in the door.’ Well, that’s a lot of it in show business, is getting in the door.”

Then Maher said: “Anybody can act. It’s not that f**king hard” — before immediately apologizing as the audience laughed at the mistake

“Oh, sorry. Sorry, CNN,” he said. “I know. I forgot. You’re not supposed to— not on HBO.”

Maher has often been a staunch critic of Republicans but has also not shied away from criticizing members and movements within his own party. Earlier this month, Maher hit out at far-left liberals over their attempts to destroy traditional concepts of biological sex and gender.

“If you’re part of today’s woke revolution, you need to study the part of revolutions where they spin out of control because the revolutionaries get so drunk on their purifying elixir they imagine they can reinvent the very nature of human beings,” Maher noted.

He then referenced Communist revolutionaries who believed they could rid humanity of selfishness.

“The problem with communism, and with some very recent ideologies here at home, is that they think they can change reality by screaming at it, that you can bend human nature by holding your breath. But that’s the difference between reality and your mommy,” Maher said.

The Daily Wire reported that Maher “referenced Mao’s war on the Four Olds of old thinking, old culture, old customs, and old habits,” and followed up by comparing communist reeducation programs to freshman orientation at many American universities.

During the monologue, Maher also blasted those who think they can erase gender and make obesity healthy by creating a “new human.”

“With communists, that human was no longer selfish. In America today, that human is no longer born male or female. And obesity is not something that affects health. You can be healthy at any size. Seriously, we voted on it,” the comedian said.

“I’ve spent three decades on TV mocking Republicans who said climate change was just a theory,” he concluded. “And now I got to deal with people who say, ‘You know what else is just a theory? Biology.’”
