Elon Musk, the renowned business magnate, recently revealed his possession of “an arsenal of weapons.”
“I have an arsenal of weapons, most of which I bought in California before they changed the law to make it impossible to do so,” Musk said. He shared a video of himself hip-firing a Barrett 50 caliber gun, a display that garnered attention and a share from the National Rifle Association (NRA).
The NRA echoed the sentiment of the Second Amendment, stating, “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!” alongside an American flag emoji.
Musk’s stance on the right to bear arms is clear and unyielding.
“I strongly believe that the right to bear arms is an important safeguard against potential tyranny of government,” he communicated in an email to CNBC last year. His words underscore his belief in the importance of public gun ownership as a check against governmental overreach.
A visit to Eagle Pass, Texas, by Musk brought attention to the ongoing southern border crisis in the United States. His tweets express concern over the prioritization of international borders over the U.S. border.
“Why do so many American politicians from both parties care 100 times more about the Ukraine border than the USA border?” Musk questioned in a tweet. His stance on immigration is firm, advocating for a halt to illegal immigration while supporting an expansion and simplification of the legal immigration process.
“Illegal immigration needs to stop, but I’m super in favor of greatly expanding and simplifying legal immigration,” Musk declared. He believes in providing opportunities for hard-working, talented and honest individuals to become Americans.
