Fox News host Harris Faulkner cut off Patrick Murphy, a former Dem Representative, who seemed to be dodging a question surrounding the Navy’s new controversial recruitment ad that featured a drag queen.
As the Daily Caller reported: “The Navy brought on an active-duty drag queen to participate in a pilot program aimed at reaching audiences across social media amidst a recruitment crisis. Yeoman 2nd Class Joshua Kelley whose stage name is Harpy Daniels, said the Navy invited him to be the first “Navy Digital Ambassador” in November.”
“Congressman, you served. What do you say about a program that is using drag queens to try to recruit?” Faulkner asked.
“The good news is that as you reported last segment there’s 12.7 new jobs in America in the last two years. The bad news is we are hurting. We are tens of thousands short in warriors joining our military,” Murphy said.
It’s been going on year after year after year, during the Trump administration and now the Biden administration. When our economy is going better is is harder to recruit and the Navy, Army, Air Force Marines –” he added, before Faulkner cut him off.
“Are you going to get to the drag queen part?”
