Video footage, that was reportedly taken in Piedras Negras, Mexico shows a group of illegal immigrants from Central America collectively raising their hands when reportedly asked who among them was trying to sneak into the U.S. because “Joe Biden said it would be easy.”
The footage was posted to Twitter by Todd Bensman of the Center For Immigration Studies with the caption, “Pregunta(question) here in Piedras Negras Mexico with Central American migrants: Who among you came to cross the border because President Joe Biden said it was going to be easy? Raise your hands…”

Bensman also posted photos of multiple migrants using iPhones and other high-end smartphones:
“As I often say in media interviews, ‘I’ve never met a desperately impoverished migrant who did t have a cell phone with that monthly data plan.’ This is how migrants on the move here in Mexico learn the latest who Biden is letting in, where and when,” Bensman wrote.
This is not the only video of an immigrant claiming that Joe Biden’s open border policy is the reason why they are entering the country that has gone viral.
ABC News’ Martha Raddatz reported from near the U.S.-Mexico border in a clip and featured an interview with an unidentified “asylum seeker” crossing from Mexico to the United States illegally.
The migrant told ABC News that he would not have made the trip had former President Donald Trump been in the White House.
Raddatz asked: “Would you have tried to do this when Donald Trump was president?”
“Definitely not. Definitely. We have a chance, you know. The same environment that’s been going on today wasn’t there last year,” the man responded. “We used to watch the news and I definitely wouldn’t do this.”
Raddatz followed up: “So did you come here because Joe Biden was elected president?”
“Basically,” the man said. “The main thing was the violence in my country. And the second thing, I think, was Joe Biden.”
