New video has emerged showing Anne Heche, the actress who, driving nearly 90 miles per hour, struck the garage of a home and caused her own car to explode, nearly ramming into a woman on the sidewalk.
Heche was recorded speeding down an alleyway and just barely missing the pedestrian as the woman walked down the sidewalk in Mar Vista.
The woman has not yet been identified, but can be seen turning around in surprise as Heche’s blue Mini Clubman raced past her just before 11 a.m. on Friday.
The video comes as police insiders revealed Heche, who with horrific burns was intubated after the terrifying crash, is set to be investigated over the 90 mph smash. LAPD intends to take blood from the hospital she is currently housed in, in hopes of finding out whether or not she was drunk or under the influence of another drug while at the wheel.
A picture taken by a witness showed the actress looking “glassy-eyed,” and a glass bottle with a red cap can be seen in her cup holder.
The new video shows Heche’s blue Mini Clubman racing down a narrow alleyway, and Heche can be seen not immediately braking, despite a woman being seen walking across the exit of the alley to the main road. The actress taps the pedal last minute.
The video ends as the pedestrian turns to look at the car and watch it speed off into the distance.

In addition, the homeowner of the house that Heche crashed into is the current recipient of a GoFundMe page, in order to replace the “lifetime of possessions” she lost in the blaze which ensued when Heche’s car exploded.
While Heche was the only individual directly injured as a result of the crash, Lynne Mishele could only look on as the flames consumed her home to the point of uninhabitability.
GoFundMe gained over $50,000 dollars in support within a day of its posting and has a goal of $100,000. It was set up by Mishele’s neighbors, John and Jennifer Durand. As of Monday, it has gained over $86,000 in support.
“Lynne lives with her beautiful pups Bree and Rueban, and tortoise Marley in the Mar Vista home that was destroyed this week by a car driving into the home at a high rate of speed, catching the house on fire,” the page read. “Even more distressing is that Lynne lost her entire lifetime of possessions, mementos, all equipment for her business including her laptop and iPad, all of her clothing and basic necessities, and all household items.”
“With firefighters’ help, she was able to pull a few damaged sentimental belongings from the wreckage. Everything else is gone.”
