An author and entrepreneur who came to American at 10 when his parents fled the Iranian revolution advised U.S. parents to remove their children from public schools.
Patrick Bet-David joined the U.S. military after becoming a citizen, according to a Gateway Pundit report. The report added Bet-David began a career in the financial services industry after serving in the Army’s 101st Airborne Division.
“I recommend every parent consider taking their kids out of public schools and putting it (sic) in private schools or home schooling if you can afford it,” he said in a recent podcast recording.
The author/entrepreneur claimed that 97 out of 100 U.S. English teachers were Democrats, with only three percent Republicans in public school.
“Health teachers in America,” continued Bet-David, “out of 100, 99 Democrats, 1 Republican.”
Math and science teachers recorded more Republicans than the softer subjects, according to Bet-David. He noted there were 13 Republicans out of every 100 math and science teacher in U.S. public schools; the remaining 87 were Democrats. The entrepreneur said their perceived political affiliation was based on their recorded political donations.
“That is a monopoly,” Bet-David declared, “it’s not a 50/50, okay?”
He claimed even most teachers employed by private schools were Democrats but the numbers were slightly more balanced.
“Private schools are not 80 percent Republican, 70 percent Republican or 60 percent Republican,” he added, claiming the number was approximately 60 percent Democrat.
“Because most teachers are not making enough money where their policies would be policies to vote on maybe on one side,” Bet-David explained.
