Pressure appears to be ratcheting up on the investigation of Hunter Biden and the Biden family’s dealings with businesses in China and Ukraine.
Rep. James Comer (R-KY), House Oversight Committee chairman, spearheads the investigation.
In a recent interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Comer alleged that the Biden family has been involved in questionable business dealings with “a dozen countries,” resulting in kickbacks of “tens of millions of dollars.”
In an interview on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” with Host Bill Hemmer, Comer noted that the recent release of financial documents to his committee shows that a fourth Biden family member was involved in questionable business dealings.
Declaring that “a new name has emerged,” Comer noted that the new revelation indicates the investigation will expand beyond Hunter Biden, Hunter business associate John (Rob) Walker, President Biden and the president’s brother James.

Comer provided an example of suspicious financial transactions. After reviewing subpoenaed bank records, his committee found that Hunter Biden’s business received a $3 million wire transfer “two months after Joe Biden left office.”
Comer added that “the very next day, from that account … they started wiring money to Biden family members, plural, and there were three different Biden family members that received a cut from the $3 million, including new Biden family members never before included in any of these investigations.”
Comer questioned why the business was handling large sums of money and noted their investigators would soon be speaking with another Biden.
Noting the complexity of the case, Comer said: “We have got a problem here with respect to trying to determine what exactly this family was doing to receive these transactions from China. I think every American should be concerned; this is an issue of national security.”
Comer added he was concerned to learn it appears that all wire transfers came from alleged business associates with ties to China and were placed in “personal accounts.” Comer also questioned what justified the payments as the Biden family “doesn’t manufacture or sell anything nor do they own real estate.”
