The daughter of the notorious “Happy Face Killer” has gained an unlikely following on TikTok, candidly discussing her relationship with her murderous father.
Melissa Moore, 43, is one of three children by Keith Hunter Jesperson — a Canadian-born trucker who killed at least 8 women across the US between 1990 and 1995.
He became widely known as the “Happy Face Killer” due to drawings of smiley faces he added to letters sent to media and the police. Following his arrest, Jesperson claimed he had killed 185 people, although he has only been charged and convicted for 8 homicides.
Late last month, Moore shared a letter her father had penned to her from his prison cell in Oregon, with the clip garnering more than 8 million views.
“Remember most of all daughter, I never stopped loving you,” Jesperson penned to his daughter in the correspondence.
The correspondence came with a photo of Moore on her wedding day, which took place last July.
The TikToker appeared baffled as to how her killer dad was able to obtain the image, concluding that he must have access to her Instagram account behind bars.
“In the letter he says I’m fat and my husband is fat,” Moore shockingly stated, claiming her dad also expressed doubts that the marriage would last.
In the video, the daughter also revealed that her father sent her a package last Christmas which contained a handbag made for her by a fellow inmate.
