A pair of 7-11 employees turned the tables on a man stealing cigarettes from their store, beating him with a stick until he began crying for mercy, have found themselves at the center of a viral video, with heaps of praise being rained on them by conservative voices.
The video, split into two parts, was first shared by social media user @yo_folkers on Instagram with a geotag for the city of Stockton, California. In it, a black man with a blue T-shirt over his face can be seen throwing boxes of cigarettes into a trash can at a 7-11 location, Fox Los Angeles reported.

“Just let him go. There ain’t nothing you can do,” the man filming the video can be heard saying, adding that the workers shouldn’t intervene, because insurance will pay for their losses. The man also asked the would-be thief for “a swisher,” but was ignored.
At one point, the suspect threatened to shoot the people inside. However, when he attempted to squeeze by one of the workers, the two locked arms and began to fight. When the first employee had gotten the suspect to the ground, the second employee began beating the suspect with a stick.
After several strikes, the suspect, crying for mercy, is escorted out of the store by the man filming the incident.
The video quickly made the rounds on social media, and was retweeted by many conservatives, who argued it was a sign that people across the country are fed up with rampant crime in progressive jurisdictions that have stopped prosecuting certain offenses.
