A devastating wildfire tearing through Los Angeles has forced more than 80,000 residents to evacuate as firefighters battle the zero-percent contained blaze amid questions about equipment availability and past international donations.

Resist the Mainstream has reported that the fast-moving, wind-driven fires have left hundreds of thousands without power across the Los Angeles area as emergency responders work tirelessly to contain the growing threat.

The scale of the disaster has drawn national attention to the challenges facing local firefighting crews.

Gavin Newsome gave Ukraine fire trucks.

ABC 7 revealed in March 2022, Los Angeles County fire crews provided surplus equipment to Ukrainian firefighters, including hoses, nozzles, protective gear and eventually fire trucks.

The donations were part of a broader aid package during the early months of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

ZeroHedge outlined that while the equipment was classified as surplus at the time, the current crisis has raised questions about domestic emergency response capabilities.

President Joe Biden has also come under fire after outlets like the Associated Press reported that the US is set to announce a “substantial” final weapons package for Ukraine.

Local fire departments are reportedly experiencing equipment shortages as they combat the widespread blazes, the outlet has learned.

Donald Trump issued a fiery outcry as new developments emerged.

“NO WATER IN THE FIRE HYDRANTS, NO MONEY IN FEMA. THIS IS WHAT JOE BIDEN IS LEAVING ME,” the president-elect posted on Truth Social. “THANKS JOE!”

The fires continue to spread rapidly through the Los Angeles area, challenging the resources and capabilities of emergency response teams.

Fire officials have not provided an estimated timeline for containment, as high winds and dry conditions complicate firefighting efforts.

Residents in affected areas are being urged to follow evacuation orders immediately.

Emergency shelters have been established throughout safe zones to accommodate displaced families and individuals, according to ZeroHedge.

Daily Mail reported that local authorities are coordinating with state and federal emergency management agencies to secure additional resources and support for the firefighting effort.

The immediate focus remains on protecting lives and property while preventing further spread of the fires.

The situation has sparked debate about emergency resource allocation and international aid policies.

Critics argue that domestic emergency services should retain all possible equipment, while supporters of the Ukraine donations maintain that the shared resources were truly surplus items not needed for regular operations.

Rick Caruso, billionaire real estate developer, called into LA local news:

“This is like a third world country… there is no water coming out of the fire hydrants. LA Mayor Karen Bass is on a foreign trip to Ghana.”pic.twitter.com/iOjXPkWcko

As firefighters continue their battle against the flames, critics of the city’s handling of the whole ordeal argue that immediate priority must be protecting the affected communities and preventing further damage to the Los Angeles area.

Emergency response teams are working around the clock to establish containment lines and protect vulnerable neighborhoods.

Conservatives and outraged social media users have criticized Mayor Karen Bass and LA for not filling critical water reservoirs, not maintaining aging power lines and prioritizing “diversity” in the fire department over competency and training, amongst a plethora of other issues.

Unfreakingbelievable! Was this fire timed purposely while she was out of the country? Why did people just have their fire insurance canceled recently, and why did the fire start around 9:30 am well before the winds started? pic.twitter.com/wAN7L76adH
