Christian worship singer Sean Feucht shared a heartwarming update about an incident that occurred a few months ago, when his guitar was stolen.
The man who grabbed his guitar approached him at a later concert and was baptized, according to a report from Breitbart.
“The guy who stole my guitar just gave his life to Jesus!!!!” Feucht posted to social media. “He’s getting baptized right now!! He came and surprised me in front of 7,000 people! God writes the best stories!!!”
The incident took place in Spokane, Washington, where a video was shared of the man, identified as Zach, being baptized on stage in a metal trough.
Feucht, who gained recognition for his “Let Us Worship” campaign during the COVID-19 lockdowns, recounted the incident to Pete Hegseth of “Fox and Friends.”
He described how the thief broke his car window to steal the guitar.
“Obviously, it’s a nightmare for an artist — you know, a guitar that you love so much,” Feucht said.
The guitar was later discovered in a pawn shop. A street ministry team then proposed the idea of locating the thief.
“I made a statement in June,” Feucht said. “I said, ‘The greatest miracle would not be that we recovered the guitar but if this guy gives his heart to the Lord.’ Long story short, he ends up reaching out to some people in the street ministry team in Spokane.”
The man who allegedly stole the gospel singer’s guitar attended a later concert that drew an audience of 6,000, the report noted.
“And they bring him up on stage, and I give him a big hug, and I just say, ‘Man, what was once lost has now been found, it’s more than just a guitar, it’s about your life, man, God loves you, he died for you, and today is your day to come home.’ And he gave his life to Jesus,” Feucht narrated.
Feucht expressed distress on social media right after the guitar was stolen, bemoaning that it was irreplaceable.
“It was my ‘67 Ghallager that was a gift from Ray Hughes,” Feucht wrote. “IRREPLACEABLE!!!”
