During an episode of the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast, UFC president Dana White made a sudden exit that left host Howie Mandel in shock.
The incident unfolded after Mandel lavished White with praise, acknowledging him as an “amazing guy,” an “amazing businessman,” an “inspiration” and a “philosopher.” Mandel even expressed envy of White’s career achievements.
“Thank you for all the kind words, I appreciate it,” White responded. His next words, however, took a sharp turn.
“I am so f–king tired of doing podcasts. I’m literally done with them. I’m not doing any more podcasts.”
Following this declaration, White stood up and left the interview, leaving Mandel speechless.

The abrupt departure sparked speculation among online observers, with Sportskeeda suggesting it might have been a stunt to draw attention to Mandel’s podcast.
Others, including Kay Smythe of The Daily Caller, pondered if White’s exit was simply due to a genuine frustration with the podcast circuit. Smythe noted that White, a prominent figure in the sports industry well-known for his role in elevating UFC to global prominence, has little need for self-promotion and posits that demands of frequent podcast appearances, coupled with their mental and physical toll, could indeed be overwhelming, especially with little to no compensation for the time and effort involved.
